Visimetrics high-performance digital video recording, storage and management systems to showcase full integration with ISM’s Control Room Management Software Suite – Genesys

Leading manufacturer of Digital Evidence Recorders™ for CCTV and surveillance applications, Visimetrics, is exhibiting in the new Intelligent Integration Zone at IFSEC in Birmingham May 10-13 2010. The company will demonstrate their flagship FASTAR Digital Video Recorder, scalable RAID Array mass storage system and - for the first time - showcase the next generation of their Security Management Software – CONTROL SMS.

On display in the Intelligent Integration Zone are:

FASTAR – high quality, ‘no compromise’ DVR designed with independent hardware based compression per channel to provide optimum compression performance necessary for high frame rate, high quality, complex scene type applications. FASTAR uses Variable Bit Rate (VBR) quality per channel to ensure the maximum detail is captured within in every scene under every form of recording configuration.

CONTROL SMS – the next generation of Visimetrics’ Security Management Software. CONTROL SMS has been completely redeveloped under the .Net framework to provide a network wide overview of all systems and cameras with the flexibility of mixing live, recorded and audio evidence from any location simultaneously. It also incorporates the ability to remotely monitor the “health” or operating status of all Visimetrics recording systems via an IP network and - uniquely - offers a simple, comprehensive and robust means of exporting multiple formats of incidents simultaneously to DVD.

RAID Array – a completely scalable Network Attached Storage (NAS) mass storage system. RAID Array is a hardware based storage system designed specifically by Visimetrics to cope with the resource requirements necessary to store large volumes of high quality, high bit rates video scenes and audio recordings.
