Q.	Explanation of LED’s
A. • Power : Lights up when system switched on • Watchdog: Pulses once a second under normal operation

Q.	How many audio channels does OCTAR support?
A. Single channel audio input is supported by all products within the OCTAR range

Q.	What image resolutions does OCTAR support?
A. OCTAR supports : Frame (768 x 576) , Field (768 x 288) or Quarter (384 x 288) resolution

Q.	Does OCTAR support telemetry cameras?
A. The OCTAR range of DER’s supports multiple telemetry protocols. For a comprehensive list of protocols supported and communication methods please contact our Sales department.

Q.	What feature differences are there between OCTAR System and System Plus?
A. OCTAR System range is a non-upgradeable system providing all the functionality of the Compact range but over 16 channels. The System Plus range offers additional video management capabilities with loop-through, auto-terminating, spot and sequenced monitor outputs and RS485 capability for direct telemetry control.

Q.	Is there a standard network configuration of OCTAR?
A. All OCTAR products supplied directly by Visimetrics will have an IP address of 192.168.0.100. (Where multiple OCTAR’s are supplied on a single order the IP address assignment will run consecutively upwards from 192.168.0.100 to the number of system within the order). As a configurable option OCTAR can be assigned an IP address via DHCP.
