Can Pathfinder record video?
A.
Pathfinder is a dedicated Video Motion Detector designed purely for VMD rather than recording

What frame rate does Pathfinder operate at?
A.
Pathfinder processes all images at real time i.e. 25Hz

Can I use Pathfinder to “Loop Through” my video sources?

Yes, Pathfinder has termination switches enabled with “jumpers”

Does Pathfinder only operate with OCTAR?
A.
Pathfinder can be used as a stand-alone VMD system or integrated to any ancillary equipment capable of accepting the relay outputs generated on motion detection.
Q.
How do I change the text overlay for my cameras?
A.
All settings for Pathfinder are entered through the Terminal programme supplied with Pathfinder. Once the new settings have been entered reboot the Pathfinder through software to take effect.
Q.
What type of cable do I need to use between Pathfinder and a PC?
A.
Use a 9-way D-Type female to 9-way D-Type male connector with direct pin- to-pin connections.
